The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho, is an inspirational fable about a Spanish shepherd, Santiago, who sets out on a quixotic quest to find a treasure at the Egyptian pyramids.  Along the way he learns various spiritual lessons.   The lessons he learns include the importance of paying attention to the signs in our life, and that it is our responsibility to follow our dreams, our inner vision, because that is how we become whole.
Our dreams are sacred and powerful, and we must do all that we can to follow our calling.  An Apache shaman once said, "A man not living his vision is living death."  I believe this is true.  This quote may not be as poetic as the quotes in The Alchemist, but it is profoundly wise and has layers of meanings.
The shaman's wisdom inspired me to create The Warrior Spirit –How To Use Hidden Mind Powers and Ancient Wisdom To Create Wealth and Much More! It teaches how we can conquer personal demons that keep us from realizing our life's vision. In doing so, we become the alchemist, transforming our lead into gold, figuratively speaking.
The Warrior Spirit takes up where The Alchemist book left off.  It provides guidance on how to achieve your inspired dreams, and it empowers you at the core, at the spiritual level.
Today, I came across an inspiring article by Matthew Walsh about The Alchemist. Matthew, the founder of Spiritual Media Blog Newsletter, wrote about the upcoming movie based on The Alchemist and included great Alchemist quotes about the power of following our dreams.  May this article help to remind you of the sacredness of your dreams.  Below is an excerpt from his article:

In an interview, Paulo Coelho made these bold declaration about following your dreams:
"We who fight for our dream suffer far more when it doesn't work out, because we cannot fall back on the old excuse: 'Oh, well, I didn't really want it anyway.' We do want it and know that we have staked everything on it…
Then, we warriors of light must be prepared to have patience in difficult times and to know that the Universe is conspiring in our favor, even though we may not understand how…
When we first begin fighting for our dream, we have  no experience and make many mistakes. The secret of life, though, is to fall seven times and to get up eight times. So why is it so important to live our personal calling if we are only going to suffer more than other people? Because, once we have overcome the defeats–and we always do–we are filled by a greater sense of euphoria and confidence…
If you believe yourself worthy of the thing you fought so hard to get, then you become an instrument of God, you help the Soul of the World, and you understand why you are here."
